My other half was worried about the "safety" of me riding to school with my backpack... Its about 45lbs with all my books... So for our 14th anniversary I got a new set of saddle bags!

I had to move my rear turn signals back a hand our so, but amazingly, for their size, they for pretty well.

How'd you do the turn signal relocation? Does the seat still latch easily? More pics, please!

Those are very clever! I just checked the link you posted; I like the "zippered" attachment points plus the "disguised" strap buckles. A really neat product.

    Bomonghani,
I'd still love to see pics/read more about how you did the blinkers.

Like the paint job. Never been a fan of bags, till I saw a custom that had hard bags molded into the fender. Looked awesome.

My old man had a trail90, you can't mistake those old mufflers and luggage rack!

Nice bags, they look pretty spacious and I'll admit that backpacks suck on bike...

Sorry, I didn't have a camera with me at the time. Saw it on a custom bike at a dealership. The bags where slim so the whole fender was about 18 to 20 inches across. Looked real good, haven't been able to get it out of my head.
May end up as a future mod on my bike. 8)

Idea just popped into my head. Get 2 V-Star rear fenders or whatever your taste, cut 1 in half(lengthwise), weld 1 on each side of the other fender, cut out a access lid on each side and box in the bottoms.
You could stagger the edges and trim to fit. Probably would work fine.
