changing the oil today I noticed that there were little metal particles sticking to the oil screw (its magnetic). Is this bad? or is it supposed to happen through normal wear and tear. Im thinking that because the oil screw is magnetic, it was design for catching loose particles.

If it's a small amount of fine particles, that's what I get between 2500 mile oil changes, I think it's OK.
