    loving it so far. i like the look of little as posssible. i got a bucket headlight off ebay cheap and took out my tach cluster and added a small single speedo from mikes xs to it. good start!!

    Nice, I dont think im going to run anything up there. I got the TC Bros forward control kit today. that does alot for the bike.

    the mikesxs speedo is cool because its only like 2.5 inches round.... big enough to read, but small enough to get the HELL out of the way!

    I looked at the mikes speedo. maybe this winter... but i just want this damn thing running.

    I only have like$500 into this thing so far!

    the tank is getting mounted tomorrow. then the engine is going in. start up is soon!

    thats awsome. i payed 300 for mine 5 years ago..... havent spent more than 200 on my "bobber build" but dropping probably another 300 into her this winter for gaskets, kits, ect.... loving the seat, but get it apolstered. i got a cheap ebay solo seat and now know why it was only 40 bucks. looks sweet, rides like a bull!!!!! and mines not hardtailed either!

    Ill have to take a better picture sometime that explains better... welded two plates to the back bone with holes drilled in them. Got a leaf spring from a farm and home place and mounted the pan to it. Cut the other end off and bolted to the bike.

    To mount the tank I JB welded a plate with a bolt welded to it on the underside towards the rear. Put another hole in the leaf spring found some rubber grommets and bought a nylon wingnut.

    Hi mate.

    Not my style of bike, but I love watching how different people approach obstacles and how they overcome them.

    When working from scratch there can be many paths, all correct.

    those ny-lock nuts don't appear to have grabbed the nylon yet. I like the idea though!

    Nice! I was just looking at a really cool old shovel head that had a similar frame setup and stance on Lowbrow Custom's site. What kind of front end are you going to run? Raking it out or using the stock setup?

    I think Im going to use the stock setup, but am looking into the rear wheel conversion for up front.
