Well for those of you who don't remember i posted a thread on this site this year trying to look for a new ignition unit for my old 1981 xj 650.

eventually after 6/7 months i found this site which i'm sure most of you may have heard from before> http://www.ignitech.cz/english/aindex.htm

they custom build ignition units and i would highly recommend them to anyone around the world..

although the ignition unit is working extremely well there are a few bugs with the program as the motorcycle cycle repair place have tryed to correct the rpms/ratios etc for the motorcycle as a guess on engine size.

has anyone here used a ignitech product for there xj and if so do you know what the program/Graph settings are.

Why didn't you buy the OE one on eBay that I posted a link to back when you asked about this originally?

Your guys shouldn't have had to guess on anything. The stock TCI advance curves are shown in the service manual, and the needed dwell can be calculated by measuring the primary and secondary resistances and inductances of the stock coils.

my bike is hardly near the orignal xj650 its been turned into a chopper so getting original parts would have been nice, execpt i don't have pay pal nor an ebay account and had to rely on kicking the bike shop up the ass to get there butts in gear and get something that works.

well thats all and well having a service manual, i have a downloaded version of the service manual somewhere, do you know if the (advance curves) listed in the Haynes service manual?. if so could you tell me what page or what the stats are. :)
