Is there any reasonably easy way to use one of those 2 arm motorcycle lifts on a 750 Seca? It doesn't appear sensible to lift the bike by the exhaust but that's the lowest part. Some sort of adapter to lift by a more solid part of the bike?

I bought the cheap Harbor Freight lift when it was on sale. I love it.

How do you use it--is there more to it than 'shove it under the bike, pump and hope the exhaust can support the weight"?

There are two kinds of motorcycle lifts. They either get one or both wheels off the ground, or are the table lift to raise the bike to a height that makes it easier to work on.

Some people like to use the latter, the former is not necessary with the center stand. if you need the front wheel off the ground, jack it up by the oil pan while on the center stand, and place a jack stand under the front frame cross member.

I strongly advocate for the full table lifts. I was lucky enough to find the Harbor Freight 1200 lb lift listed for an incorrect price in the order catalog in the store. The manager honored the incorrect price and when i added (subtracted) the 20% discount coupon I got the fully pneumatic lift for less money than the pump up model.

Either one will change your life for the better.

You could build a wooden cradle out of 2X4's that would directly lift the frame.
