    I should add that I'm willing to part the bike out, as well, but only if it's worth it (i.e., for a few items at once that would be worth my time, rather than a rear blinker here, a kick stand there, etc.)

    The bike still available? The Craigslist ad is expired. I'm located in San Jose as well, so might be willing to check it out depending on what needs fixing.
