    Cheap, please!!!

    1. Warning Control switch for the instrument cluster. The body on this one is broken and could probably be repaired, but I'd rather have a healthy one with good lettering on the button face. (Actually, the lettering on this one is fine, it's just that the main body is broken.)

    2. The plastic 650 "bezel" that snaps into the handlebar cover.

DONE 3. The front brake light switch including the wire lead.

    4. The trim piece that covers the top of the oil cooler.

    5. The rubber trim pieces for the windshield edge and the fairing pockets.

    6. A new brain to figure out why I'm putting so much money and effort into this motorcycle. :)

    7. Almost forgot: the YAMAHA emblems at the top of the side fairings.

Actually I know the answer to #6. It's because these Turbos are so much fun to ride and that's why I ride bikes in the first place.

You should NEVER lie to Santa. :)

P.S. Our fork seals and oil filters are here. I got some special low-stiction fork seals that cost a little more, but not that much.

Another P.S. I got with our contact today and the title process is underway. It isn't going to be a problem at all. Yeah!

It's true and back to #6-have you seen the movie "Christine" based on the Steven King novel? If not you should check it out-your bike might just be taking control over you!!

Do you find yourself wandering the parts store and buying things you don't really need, but the bike might need? Do you feel the need to bring home new parts and show them to the bike? Is your Xmas list comprised of only bike related wishes?

Or maybe you just love your bike-and making something old new again

If it were Christine, the bike could fix itself. ;)

What are you turbo guys doing for air filters?

I ordered some Uni foam air filter sheets; plan to use it on the stock filter cage and probably run it more or less dry.

My air filter is in surprisingly good shape. Will run it as long as I can. I saw one om eBay for $80. What a bargain!

you can spend too much time with your bike? well what if you dont spend all of it just one bike, then what? will I be ok?
on a more serious note, why are the turbo filters so high? is that the norm?

No one makes them. I think it was a left over NOS part as I recall. I guess he'll be storing that one for a while.

gotta be from that guy who wants 29.00 for a used carb needle
Ebay has some real characters. You see the carbs for over 500.00?
Id pay that if they came with a life time supply of gas

Didn't see the $500 carbs but have seen some pretty crazy prices and outrageous shipping, especially on small stuff.

That's a good idea. And inexpensive too.
