    Hey everyone,

Anyone else go to the Toronto bike show last weekend? I never left empty handed, wound up with a clymer manual and a nifty Yamaha T-shirt :p. The father in law went a little higher and bought a Can-Am Spyder! I tried to convince him to let me ride it out to the coast for him (Eastern Canada), but for some reason he wouldn't bite ;)

Yeah I went on Sunday - seemed to me the prices on gear weren't quite as good as they usually were.

Specifically I was looking at modular helmets - the Bell Revolver and the Nolan N90. These are available all over the internet for $100 and $220 US (respectively). Now I knew prices in Canada were going to be higher, but they're usually not that much higher. However the best I could do at the show was $200 and $340 CDN + tax (respectively) -- not good enough to make me buy.

The way of the economy I guess -- just didn't seem to be the show of good deals that I remember it being.

    Hey Altus,

Yeah I saw the black vests there from the cav, I was there sunday as well! I was surprised at the different bikes that were there from last year, but year the prices didn't seem great if you factor in admission, travel and 20 dollar pizzas! I think there's another one in March or something, but I think the next thing I'm looking forward to is the Friday the 13th run this april!
