Well I have a cracked side cover now. Not real happy but it happened. What is the best way to repair the crack? Any suggestions?

Get a can of Oates ABS Cement. Work it into the crack from the back side til you just barely see any indication of it at the front. Stop and let it harden up overnight and you can do you careful trimming, sanding and buffing then. It will be just as strong as it was before the crack.

It is my most favorite repair stuff, and it's amazing just how clean of a repair you can make if you take your time.

When my bike was still stock, I used GOOP to repair a long crack in the side cover and it held up very well. I glued it on the inside before painting it and you couldn't tell it was repaired from the outside.
