1982 XJ650 maxim exhaust question?

    I have a 1982 XJ650 maxim that i'm starting too customize some. i need all new exhaust on it and was wondering if it was posible too just run piping straight off each header pipe back without any 2 to1's on it (basicly having 4 pipes ran back and straight pipes? will this mess anything up or cause any issues (other than being load, lol)?

    Definitely LOUD (not load :wink: )! No backpressure will affect carb tuning...

    ok, i'm looking for a dual type setup that sounds load and aggressive. Any ideas? i'm trying too keep cost down and do a budget setup. My bike currentlt has a 4 to 1 setup, but pipes are crushed in in some spots and rusting. Like i said i want to do a dual pipe setup and like too keep them short if i can
