I was cleaning 33mm hitachi carbs on 85 xj700n. I dropped the neddle jet, which fits into the emulsion tube. It landed on the concrete perfectly... to bend it. The needle jet is engraved with Y-20. Any ideas on how to get a replacement?

Is there no way to try and bend it back into position? I believe it's Aluminum.

    Straightening it will not work.

Check with XJ4Ever, chacal should be able to hook you up.

Thanks - will check with Chacal. Yeah, I did not think straightening would work because the fit in the emulsion tube has to be dead-on. What a deal breaker. Had just put valves into spec., religned the fuel tank, rebuilt the petcock and was finishing off with cleaning the carbs. The needle jet was the last piece I had to put in the last carb... guess I got a bit jittery.
