Interesting project, going to follow how it comes out 8)
I have planned to modify my 550 to that Wrenchmonkee/bratstyle kind of style too, but I'm forced to do it later, since don't have place to work on it and it is little bit too cold to do it outside :p

    Hi, another guy from Finland!
Well, thats the problem mostly, space!?! I have 3 other bikes in my garage so it´s a little tight..
Well, took the rear wheel of yesterday so no there is engine, swing and the upper side of the fork! Then it goes to powdercoating?
I think there is some time left to finish it...

Hi again! Do not know how many people that has been looking at my project but had some visitors(500+) at my blogg!
Well it has been summer and I had a surgery in my knee! That took from late march until August! Was not allowed to rida a bike until autumn...

I still had some stuff done in the garage, both with the bikes and other stuff!
XJ frame is at paint will come this week!

Well tried to attach some pix but it wont work??

Hi Björn, Nice to see another Swedish 550 in progress!

What colors are you going for?
And what kind of muffler(s) are you going to use?

    Hi Bjorn,

I went throught the picture addition problem recently. Most guys get around it by posting links to photobucket or other sites as you have done. to paste pictures in directly you have to resize them. Jpegs and no more than 500 X500 i believe. You can do that in MS Paint and type in the resolution in the resize bit of the tool bar. I don t think the site accepts Bit maps.

Worked for me when i started resizing.

Project looks like a great start, probaly getting a bit chilly to ride this time of year up in sweden?
