OK! So I got bar mount MC, now what?

    Well, mount it when it arrives of course. But I need longer brake lines.

    To the ones who have bar mounted MC I ask this:
    - How long are the lines from MC to calipers?
    - Where/how did you route them?
    - Any other things to consider?

    line length depends on routing. Id suggest getting a 1 piece ss line and get rid of the junction block. My bike took a 33 inch line but i have straight bars. my stock lines were 40inches total.
    I routed them right behind the headlight like stock.

    Use a peice of automotive wire for a mock-up, measure the length and order accordingly.

    I've never had single line set-ups but believe Boosten is correct, they are easier to bleed....the double line with junction can be a real snake sometimes!

    measure on the side stand and add a couple inches, i measured on the center kick then added a couple inches (not thinking) and my lines work but they are a bit long

    to really measure it right the front end should be lifted completely off the ground. That way you can measure the true travel of the front suspension as well.
