Yes looks good - how many miles or km on the 82 Maxim 750 engine ?

Is there a reason the two outside and two inside cylinders are closer matched - heat or timing related ? just wondering

Check your valve clearances, adjust, and then do all the other stuff that you need to do to make it safe and reliable before riding. Sounds like you're off to a good start.

thanks - been working away on everything based on the manuel and excellent help here - replaced cables, front and rear brake pads and shoes, resealed tank, rebult carbs, rebult fuel shut off, battery, soldered in new fuse box, oil, filter changed twice in under 1000 miles, paint, headlight, turn signals, front* and rear sprockets, chain, ( * increased from 16 to 17 teeth ), exhaust pipe repair right side - need to replace some damage to chrome on bottom from previous owner, reflectors, engine crash bars being repaired soon plus probably more lol - 38,919 miles rather happy with compression tests myself - yeha - couldn't ask for a better hobby to work on in the mancave - thanks

plan to do a complete top end re and re next winter ( will reseat and adjust valve clearances then ) looks to me also that non balanced wet tests show some slight sealing issues but hard to say since amount of oil added to each cylinder differed - been driving around town but once my new tires are installed might just start some 400 series highway driving ( 400 series in Ontario are marked at 100 km hour ) got a little cabin in the bush 150 miles north of where I live ( my fav mancave ) and the fish should be biting pretty soon - enough of me lol - feel free to weigh in with any other observations guys and girls
