Ballast Resistor location on XJ1100

    Ok, where is this damn thing? I thought it was on the left side under the tank. Any help in locating would be most appreciated. LOL

    It usually is, but if the bike has had some coils other than standard fitted, the ballast resistor could have been taken away and the two wires that go to it joined together.

    Ooops, i'll just edit that. :oops: The XS1100 has the ballast resistor, and i've just looked at the XJ1100 manual and there appears to be no ballast resistor.
    That's probably why you can't find it. :roll:

    Thats right, there is no ballast resistor on the XJ11
