Every time I do a pre ride check.
    - push bike out of garage, wash if needed
-check oil level when on center stand
-open oil fill plug sniff for smell of gas in oil
    -check chain
    - put on riding pants and boots
    -pull on choke start bike
-check turn singles, headlight hi and low
-brake light foot and hand lever
    - turn down choke as bike revs up
    - install ear plugs in ears
-put on riding jacket and gloves
    - Strap on helmet
    - Close garage door
-check brakes before getting to end of driveway
-honk horn to let girlfriend know I'm on my way this checks horn 2 for 1
    - now decide to turn left or right
-tire pressure checked the night before

    What do you do?

its on a clean floor,so i check for leaks, quick look at oil site glass and once a fortnight check air pressure. but it gets fresh oil every 4000k's and a filter, valves checked and carbies sorted as par the manual, check battery every month or so,,,as soon aS a leak developes its sorted and i check brakes every so often, its well maintained so thats why i dont do a complete check every day, no point IMO

Basically I check oil, lights, brakes, clutch tire pressure and horn. Usually only if I'm riding out of town on the highways though. Once a month or so I check wheel and steering bearings and all cables.
