I'm getting ready to change oil in my 700x whats good and what weight ? It would be nice if it was something carried by walmart or auto parts store. Also the only info i could find suggested gl4 sae 80 for the final drive does that sound right.
    thanks in advance

Use a Non-foaming Multi-Grade for the Final Drive.

    80W/140 (Sunoco)

    Is good protection!
    PLUS:
Less likely to aerate and get shoved-out the Vent when very cool.

    Look for FRAM Filters:

FRAM gives you FREE replacement O-rings for the Filter Cover and Bolt.

As for the engine oil, last time my X came up for an oil change I splurged and used 10w40 Castrol 4T. Designed for wet clutches.
