    Quick question:

My best friend just located an 88 Virago 750 for sale, with only 3700 mi on the clock. That's right, thirty seven hundred. The price is $1800.00 He wants to buy it thinking he can flip it for a good profit. He said it starts with the first touch of the button. tires are worn. Everthing else looks brand new. I asked about different wear-points, and it all seems to check out to actual mileage. Here's the question:

Is that a decent price to flip for a profit? I personally think that price is about where it should be for regular sale, and that he'd only have success if he's able to get it down quite a bit. I told him I'd ask here, and see what others think, too.

I know some of you know that I have several virago's in various stages, but none as clean as this one appears to be, so I'm not sure.

    Thanks in advance...........

I know about the blue book, but I don't put a lot of faith in it, either. I've seen too many bikes oversold and undersold, consistently enough to show that the blue book is not always clued in to real life.
