Parts you can get from Len at XJ4ever link in the top right.

If you need a whole rack I have one from an 82. They're dirty and the condition is otherwise unknown. They came on my parts bike.

What exactly is wrong with them?

There are some parts available, and some parts that are not available. It would be worth a shot to clean them if theres nothing majorly mechanically wrong with them.

I got the parts bike not running and never tried. They're dirty on the outside and I've never had them apart so I don't know the inside condition.

EDIT* I thought iwingmeover was the original poster. Not the case. Dont mean to block ur sale, but I really think a good cleaning is in order.

I would most definitely explore cleaning before I bought another rack.
If the diaphragms and floats are in good shape, I think theres a good chance youll be able to clean them up nicely.

The good thing is that its been documented with pics.

On second look. It appears the pics I remember came off of the XJCD.

Spik......dive right in, go through the tutorial carefully and methodically. LEARN the carbs, and clean them right, right from the start. Then you'll be one of the few who AREN'T afraid of the carbs. You watch and read-----you'll be amazed at how many people are terrified of even the thought of tearing into the carbs. Learn it right from the start, and you'll be WAAAAAY ahead.

    Welcome to the forums!
