IMHO, both the seats will need recovered. I've seen people ride on worse though.
The bar is a king/queen seat support bar, but I do not have a king/queen seat to sell. The P.O. was using it as a sissy bar without pad.

If you have any questions, comments or need more pics, let me know.

Make an offer if you want any of this!

That bar does not have a pad for it. That bar is designed to go along with the high-back "King/Queen" seat that has the high back as part of the seat itself. The bar you show is just an extra support for that seat. However, you install a pad if you drill some appropriate holes through the bars to screw the pad into place.

Thanks, Dave. I had seen this bar used in combination with a king/queen seat in other sell/swap/wanted posts. However, the bar was on my bike when I bought without a king/queen seat. So the PO was using it as a sissy bar. I assumed that was normal, I guess. Is there anyway to edit the title of my post or should I create a new one?

Nah....I'd leave it the way it is. I just put that in there for anyone else who's looking at it so they'd know what they might need or want to do. That's all.
