    Can anyone tell me where I can find grips for my motorcycle and what size do they use? I tried google for information on size and ebay but without specifics I cant find anything.

    stock handlebars are typically 7/8" diameter. use that & search ebay. there's a wide variety depending on your liking

    Pm member Chacal or email "info AT xj4ever DOT com". He has a few grips that would work for you. Is it for your 85 XJ700? I am sure someone will be along shortly with handle bar size. Basically if you have 7/8 inch handle bars then any grips made for 7/8 inch bars will work. You'll also want to measure the length from the end of your bars to the control housing so you don't get something too long or too short.

    If you do get grips that are not the same length, then just move the control housing one way or another.
