Cant answer your cable question, but I like the bike! Especially the headlight conversion.

    Very nice.

I would suggest you just start calling local bike shops. Some can make longer cables, some can't. If you can't find anybody local, motionpro.com will custom make any cable you could ever need for a bike. Good luck.

    Slickonline,
I'm looking at the same thing...looking for a longer clutch cable. I already replaced the front brake cable (Seca has a cable running to the master cylinder behind the headlight) I figure maybe looking at other models and take some measurements and just maybe I'll get lucky and find one that's 3-4 inches longer. Mine works right now, but it's pulled to the limit. I looked for a site that would give cable lengths for all the Yamahas, but so far - no luck. I guess it's off to the scrap yard!

PainterD, I just went to my local bike shop and ordered all the control cables for a Maxim when I put bigger bars on my Seca. The extra length was perfect and they weren't that expensive.

    Thanks Paco!
That's just what I needed to know. How much longer are the cables for a Maxim? I'm assuming you talking about a 750 Maxim? I can probably find that cable locally. Great.
