Started the resurrection of my friend's Seca 750. Carbs are clean and now waiting for a somewhat sizable order from Len.

These were all tight (imagine that).

I like it, another Yamaha saved from the part-out. Keep up the good work.

Hey Green Bay! I am going to pick up a colortune and will be building (or try to) a manometer soon. As far as a YICS tool my Seca uses the non-YICS engine so I have no need for one. My friend with the 750 will either have to decide on his own if he wants to buy one, take it to a shop for sync or run it on the bench sync.

Stop down in Menasha at The Locker Room bar some Tuesday night for Two Wheel Tuesday. Runs all summer. Usually lots of neat bikes, all makes and vintages. A few shows each year too. June 12th is the first show. I will have my Seca there that day for sure. Other times it's a game time decision as to which bike I take (usually the cleanest one) :) PM me if you want more info.

Have you ever gone to Menchalville for their Sunday ride in? I heard it's pretty good. Thinking about checking that out this summer too.

    Update time.

Finished most of it up tonight. Need to spend some more time on the idle but other than that it runs pretty good. And you can hear the valves now. :)

And damn, I forgot how fast the 750's are! This thing will eat my 650. :(

Hey Airdale, yeah I wish there were a few members a bit closer. Would be neat to have a little 'retro ride'.

On a different note the 750 idles quite nicely now. And I'm still very impressed
with the speed of that bike. 100 cc's makes a difference. At least if he gets cocky I always have my 1400. :D
