Saddlebags for 85 XJ700, any suggestions?

    I'd like to get some saddlebags for my 85 XJ 700. Preferably ones that can be removed but any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Someone will come along with specific suggestions for your bike. Saddlebags are not one size fits all. I bought a used pair of throw-overs (black leather River Road brand) for cheap but found that they couldn't be pushed back on the seat as far as I wanted them without riding up on the rear blinkers. They sat in my garage for a few months until I ended up making aluminum brackets to re-mount my blinkers further back, so now it's good. You might find odd-fit issues with anything you buy so I recommend being able to try them on the bike in person or at least being able to return them.
