Ridiculous price but interesting nonetheless!

The price is definitely out there! Being a CBX owner myself I would say that $15k-$20k U.S. should buy that bike all day long. And there are a few subtle indications that the bike may actually have somewhat more mileage on it than advertised, but it's still a gorgeous hunk of history. :!:

Synching isn't so bad actually. But carb removal and cleaning involves DROPPING THE MOTOR (actually, you pivot it down on the rear motor mount after disconnecting everything). It can be done otherwise, but that approach takes even more work. :p

The pictures are terrible for an asking price of 45K but I can't say I blame the seller....he can only sell it once and there may be that buyer out there with very deep pockets who will want it that badly. Reminds me of an H2 that was listed for 3 years at 22K...and darned if the seller didn't get it...took him 3 years but he got it.

Guess he sold it elsewhere since they ended the listing. You guys got it hard over there with the high pricing, even for parts. I belong to an auto forum for my little sports car and one of our guru's lives over there and a few of us ship him parts at cost so he doesn't get screwed to badly. The darn shipping can cost more than the part!

I wonder if Mr 45K sold his bike yet??

Yes, but be careful before you bid.....it's located in the US and shipping will run another 1000-1500!
