    I was looking at XJ cafes once and actually found somewhere where the guy explained what was put into it. Its not completely Yamaha. There are some Kawasaki parts and I think Honda parts too. I can't for the life of me find that post now.

    Tank came from a 77-78 KZ650, it is not the original gas tank on XJ550s.

    I get a lot of questions on the headers so here is a quick answer, the header is a stock Honda F4i header that had to be cut in MANY MANY places and welded to give clearance for the oil filter. Is really all about working around it to make it fit. My best advice is to use your imagination and you can get it done. Hope that helps

    They built that bike for the cafe racer tv show.
    It makes me want my next bike to be a Virago.

    The cool thing about that virago is that it's nearly symmetrical, back to front. And the v-twin just states that as well...
