Im looking for some simple headlight fork mounts for my bobber project. I like the emgo ones but im worried about the typical emgo horrors. Im also not sure how stable the light will be while driving since ill lose the bottom mount. A little shake i can deal with but i dont want it to fall out of adjustment all the time. Id keep the stock setup but i want to drop the whole front section a few inches.

I have had the emgo headlight mounts on my 82 650 for about a year now with no problem.

Are you using the stock 7in light and just the 2 mounts? Is it the mounts with all the holes drilled in the side? Do they shake alot?

Yes I'm using the 7 inch round light with the two mounts with holes, and it doesn't shake much at all but when I put it on I used loctite and snugged it down real good.
