    Hey, I have a 82 XJ750 here in Las Vegas also. Bought it last Feb. from a guy in St. George, Ut. Ride it every day to work.

    I just knew I wasn't the only one here, welcome to the party. I bought mine in Minnesota just before I moved away from there and now it's in a thousand pieces, in my little workshop waiting for restoration. Hey Smitty, have you been hit with all the stuff you're supposed to check before riding it too much?
    Rear brake shoe delamination, valve clearances, and front brake hoses. FYI man.

    Yeah, there's a couple. The weather and the ride really make the trip though. I'm talking going from 108 degrees to 75 degrees in half an hour. Plus all those nice twists and turns make it a fun ride!
