I recently ordered 116 main jets for my 80 xj 650 g whuch i have emgo filter pods on and a 4 into 1 header. My question is can i just install these jets with no work on the needles? Or will i have to mess with modifying the needles also?

I did the same sort of thing with my 750, I ordered the dynojet kit and replaced the needle with the dynojet one.

I have an 82 xj650, pods and open exhaust, ran pretty rough, threw in some 118 mains and 41 pilots and now it runs really well. I never touched the needles. I think it'll be a trial and error with you though, but doesn't seem like you should have to.
