i redid my fusebox a while back, and it works fine, but is a pita where i put it..... im going to redo it right this time.... and wanted to go with something like

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Way-Blade-Fus ... 2a199601a4

my question is do you think this is a bad idea? my worries are that the battery putting out a straight power to all sources will be too much for the battery..... and if not that, does any of the bikes electrical lower or raise power??? meaning will anything malfunction if i do this setup? please and my bike thanks you!!!!

I beleave this is a distribution block not a fuse box.
In google type it "xjbikes Mini blade fuse block"
    Check that thread out

That one won't work, it is meant for power distribution and not for individual fused circuits. PM Chacal, he has a fuse box kit that will fit your bike. You can get similar ones at a autoparts store but they won't have wire, terminals and mounting hardware with it.

you have 1 wire coming in from battery, and 6 wires going out for positive to each "line" i have one in my jeep for all my horns lights and ect ect... works great.... just wasnt sure if anything on the bike uses the voltage regulator or anything

The one we generally recommend from chacal is a atm style fuse box

i appreciate all the tips. i just went to my garage and found an old fuse box i pulled out of a ranger i scrapped. ive relined a few wires, and will cut it tomorrow. will post pictures of my progress. free is cheap enough for me. i have ammo boxes on the bike... so i think itll go in with all my other wires.

I rebuilt my original with new clips from Radio Shack. Total cost under $4. But it does mean continuing to use the glass fuses.
