What are you guys using for replacement rear shocks on these bikes? I am looking at replacing the rear shocks on both of my 550's but want something that looks at least close to factory stock.

    Thanks again in advance....

Would you happen to have a link to a set that would work for me?

    Thanks....

That's the wrong Progressive PN for the 550 Seca fork springs, IIRC.

I went with Progressive's 12-series on both of my 550 Secas. That's basically the same shock as the 412, but without the silly covers. The 12-series is offered as separate shocks and springs; which is nice because it allows you to use black or chrome springs.

I pitched the plastic covers and they look pretty much like the original shocks, black or chrome. (Check my gallery.)

Double-check your part numbers on Progressive's website.

X2 on replacing the fork springs and oil as well, an easy, cheap, AWESOME upgrade.
