so im on a budget bob on my 80 maxim.... i keep messing with my rear sportster fender, but decided to wait until shes "done" i was thinking of going about an inch down in the rear, and was wondering at what point it starts to effect the driveshaft?! also, im guessing shocks are around 12.5 inches stock on these??? so any good leads on a pair of used 11s or 11.5s?

Most people say -2inches is lowest on rear end. So progressive 10.5in shocks.

About an inch adjust front forks.

And as much as you can shave off seat height.

Fyi, you'll need to lose center stand and may have to modify side stand.

I used Solid struts off of a Sportster, 10.5" with no issues other than I cut the Center Stand off.
