    ive been searching a little bit, but is there anyone on here that might be interested, or is already producing forward controls for the maxim? i know the tc bros is about the only ones out there, but id rather give my money (hopefully alot less) to a fellow xjer!

    i get all confused when it comes to the bushings and all that..... for the pivot poins on the shifters. the last thing i want is to have my bike downshifting at 60 while one handed

    Yeah, Mine was a Suicide Shifter and clutch, so cant help with that lol

    I also would be interested in a set mor my maxim. Hopefully it would be cheaper than the pricy 180.00 tc bros set

    I made my set and have a AutoCAD file which shows the basic design if anyone wants it send me a PM.

    TC bros is a good price. Unless you don't count your labor for anything.

    Does the TC Bros. set fold on a hinge so if you scrape a peg it gives way?

    No, the pegs on the TC Bros are rigid mounted & pretty high. With 10.5" rear shocks & 2" drop up front on my XJ650 I was scraping my kickstand on the left & exhaust on the right side before the end of the footpeg was even near the ground.
