Anyone very familiar with the 78 s750 triple? My timing index pin has been pushed into the recess in the end of the crank. It is flush with the surface and I can't grab it. I do know that the recess is slightly deeper than the pin is long, so I don't know if I can even drill it. I also know that it is supposed to be real difficult to extract them once pushed in.

But.......I don't know what the 'proper' method is to remove it.

If you're real good with the xs750 triple, please PM me.

    Thanks,

    Dave Fox

Sorry I can't help Hogfiddles, just thought it was an odd coincidence that yesterday I saw a 78 Triple at the junk yard...what a beast she was...

Good luck with her and I really hope things work out well for you. Try reaching out to Rickomatic, he seems to have been around the block a few times...
