My Bike is geared to low. It's geared for the 55 speed limit. Any way to change the gear ratio?

I heard a rumor that an XS1100 will fit the XJ750 and is a different ratio. Any way to change the gear ratio and or is there another Yamaha that has a higher gear ratio I can use? I want to bring the RPM's down while driving on the freeway.
On the Highway, my GS550 was at 2,200 RPM, my XJ750 is at 5,100. Go on the interstate and it will be even higher.

    Thank you,
    Chris.

Pretty sure these bikes are just designed to run that way... I'm not sure what you could do to change it.

You could put a Seca back wheel and tire on. It's 1" bigger and that would reduce the RPMS a little bit. Never tried it so not sure how the clearence is.

The 18" rim allows a taller tire than the 16" rim, and you gain about 8%
That should be enough, but for another 8% you could go thru the expensive ordeal of fitting a "900" middle gear set.
