Ok, I realize that the lower voltage LEDs don't pull enough to make the stock flasher work so I pretty much have two options, Resistors or New flasher module. I purchased a new flasher 2 prong from advance auto for like 13$ I was wondering if its possible to disconnect wires from the existing 9 pin flasher module and wire them to the 2 pin flasher I purchased? If so which wires would I remove from the stock flasher.

Next assuming my first option wont work what ohm resistors do I need to purchase?

Sorry man, I can't help you. I just wanted to jump in and add that this site seems to be a lot of takers and not many givers. I constantly ask for advice on here and zero input. Good luck in the pursuit of your answer. I'm an evolving novice. I have over 11000 views on my blog with about 10 responses, very disappointing. But, I still try anyway for that one golden response.

Ok well Im not to sure about this but I just looked at the wiring diagram and it looks like the brown wire goes to your fuse panel and the brown/white wire goes to the lights which should be the 2 wires you need, the third wire (Yellow/Green) goes to your canceling unit. If it was mine I would see if the had a 3 prong and try to keep the canceling unit but if you dont care then no biggie. Eventually I will go to LED but until then thats where I would start. Let me know if it works or not. But thats where the wires go on the diagram. Hope it helps!

FYI I managed to fit a CF13 3 pin to my xj750. Brown is + and connects to B+ pin, the Brown/White is your BULB side which connects to L pin. Lastly, you need to connect E- to the frame or and earth wire. You can leave the Yellow/Green wire, which is your auto off trigger.

Thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it. I did try the flasher before I saw the reply on how to wire it. I didn't have much luck. What I ended up doing was going to radio shack and getting 10 watt 10 ohm resistors and wiring them parallel on the back to blinkers, 1 for each blinker and it actually solved my issue they blink at a very nice rate they just draw more power then the led actually requires. Also wiring them into the back blinkers also fixed the front blinkers because they run on the same circuit. Hope this helps anyone with this issue. I may still try and run the flasher unit to get rid of the resistors, but for now I plan to ride the hell out of it.
