so im New to the world of foreign bikes so bear with me. unfortunately last week someone decided to run off with my bike (not very far lol). I found it the next day about two miles from the house. I guess they got tired of pushing it. long story short, they dropped it on each side trashing my bars, clutch lever, plugs and boots. luckily that was about it, but im running into a hard time finding a clutch lever. does anybody know of any levers (from other bikes) will fit? the yami dealer wants $80 for one, needless to say I told them to kick rocks. its my daily rider because I have a long commute everyday and it saves on gas. sooooo it would be advantageous to have it ridable ASAP. thanks

Xj4ever is the way to go I order rear bearing set for 22 and some change and yamaha wanted 22 for one bearing. I rushed delivery and had it 32 hours later in northern VA from GA. And great customer service

Ebay is usually the cheapest place for used parts that aren't normally replaced (like your broken levers).

Chacal (len/xj4ever) is great for any wear items, and has a good selection of new and used parts too. Also, if ASAP is the MOST important factor, you can't beat chacal's service.

This is all great info guys, i appreciate it. and i will keep all of this in mind for future reference, but i lucked out BIG time and found one at a salvage yard down the road and got it for free 99! I picked up a couple of other nick nacks while i was there so i can avoid this kind of situation in the future. considering i get 9 mpg in my truck and 40 ish on the bike with a 45 minute commute 7 days a week, i sure am glad to have the old xj back on the road. thanks again!

once again, another quick question regarding exhaust studs. another issue that surfaced after having it on the road. are they cast into the jugs or screwed in?

They are a screw-in type. Re-install using a double nut setup.
