    Hi,

Hello from Ireland. My name is Ben and I'm 29 years old.

I bought my 1st Yamaha xj600 diversion a couple of weeks back. It's my 2nd bike (my 1st was a MZ Skorpion Tour-660). It is a 1995, with less than 20,000 miles on the clock and its in cracking condition for a bike of its age and the price of EUR600 that I paid (thats about $750 and £475).

I take it for a spin everyday just to keep in running well, and the mechanic who worked on it for the previous owner said it doesn't really need any work, except maybe the plugs changed some time in the future. It's a great little runner and I'm super happy with it. Having said that, I wanted to become acquainted with the maintenance needs of the bike before I started having problems! Will buy a haynes manual soon but I've joined up to chat with other xj600 owners about there bikes and see what advice they have for keeping the bike in good nick.

Looking forward to many interesting chats on the topic in the future. I'll try and post a pic of the bike when I get a chance and figure out how to do it Smile

    Best,

    Ben

    Welcome from Milwaukee Wisconsin USA.

Would love to go tooling around in the "Old Country" as my Grandfather would say.
