Went and looked at a 900 today. Looked pretty nice although I think the $2100 may be a bit on the high side. Will need tires, brake lines, ect....all the usual stuff.

If anyone in this area is looking this one might be worth checking out. It unfortunately doesn't have the factory exhaust. :(

Biggs, if you're close enough to the bike, could you get the serial number for me so I can get it onto the 900RK database?

    PM me....

    Thanks,

    Dave Fox

Actually I tried to Dave (I was thinking of you) but the decal/sticker on the frame by the steering head was a bit scraped up and I couldn't make out all the numbers. I suppose now I could have looked at the engine. . If the weather's decent next Monday or Tuesday I can go back up there and look at it again.

Nice bike! These US 900's all seem to have low miles...(unless they've been around the clock)

Tank looks like it has has rusted through and has been repaired. Might not be a problem if done right, or might be a fail on inspection.

Hey hogfiddles, I just realized I had seen an XJ900 for sale online in NY that someone was selling "from their collection", and that hadn't been ridden since he bought it, but was in very good cosmetic condition and other than the symptoms of sitting, supposedly in good mechanical condition as well.

Was that you selling it by chance?
