In the 80's, when I was in the Air Force, a friend was wearing sunglasses inside. When queried, he was riding drunk, and crushed his glasses as a result. Made it home OK, but didn't manage the kickstand. He was strong enough to pick the bike back up (V45 Magna if I recall) but not coordinated enough to stop lifting once it was upright, so it went over on the other side. After one more failed attempt to upright it, he left it on its side until he was sober...when he found the crushed pieces of his glasses under it.
