I got my carb rack for the 750 shiny and clean, but I can't seem to get a handle on the float thing. Maybe it's my equipment, maybe it's me.

Anybody up for a couple of beers and some float bending? I'll provide the beer and the floats.

Make yourself a float gauge and set the floats to factory specs. Then wet check and it will probably only require very small adjustments. here's the one I made for my XJ700N. Your service manual can give you your float height.

For my bike the wet check was in spec after setting with the gauge, and I just made minor adjustments to get them dead-on.
