This is my '82 Maxim 650 that i got in April for $800. It didn't take long to start cutting it up and I have had a lot of fun with it this summer. Sadly I just put it away for the winter because its starting to snow up here in Vail, CO. In a couple months I'm going to tear it all apart and do the permanent hardtail conversion, rebuild the motor, simplify the wiring, paint it, and go through just about everything else. Let me know what you think because I am always open to suggestions!!!

Looks like you made some nice quick work of that. Guess I'm gonna have to take a ride up there in the spring to see it in person. Just don't have time right now and mine is torn apart too.
