My broke bones are healing but I am sad to say I can no longer say Im an XJ owner. I have other bikes but my seca was my girl. The casts will come off but she far beyond gone. Details are unimportant I guess, the fact is, Im alive and Ill ride again...soon my big GL 1100 is ready for daddy, but my XJ road demon will always be in my heart.

I'm sorry to hear about your Seca but I am glad to hear that you are ok and heling regardless of the details.

I am currently working on a xj650RJ as well maybe two if the stars line up just right.

dude out of all the bikes ive had, built, restored, etc.. my seca was the overall best. durable, dependable.....oh man, just a great bike.
100 mile trips regular, traffic snapper, distance or out the hole. the girl is very missed. her key is on a chain around my neck, the dui sob who tried to to kill me on purpose (yes on purpose) is in jail at the moment. ill find another, had many through the years but my seca was a "damn it man" bike...she will be missed.
watch out for bike hatin cagers bro....they ARE out there!!

That stinks, once again I am glad to hear you are ok. I have been on the "gathering parts" process to put together one seca, along the way I found another one with enough parts that may be worth restoring so the "parts gathering" may be a bit longer than expected.

According to bigfitz the parts gathering will probably end when I am 6ft. under now that I have "the bug" for XJs.
