Where did you get those mufflers? Did they bolt up or did you have to do any fabrication?

Very cool! But still too much brightwork.

You have the makings of an awesome ratbike, but need to darken it up a bit more!

    Still, awesome start!

Haven't been on here in a while...

She loves green, so definitely not too much dark stuff for her. I chopped the seat down a TON because she's only about 5'1" and even with the shocks as low as they can be set, she couldn't reach the ground on the old seat. I fiberglassed the back half of the seat because she doesn't plan on carrying passengers and it just made the chopped-down seat look smoother.

I'm honestly not sure where the mufflers came from. They were on the bike when I bought it (that was originally my first bike -- now her first bike). I like them a lot though.

All the street stuff's where I used to work. It's still there and the shop's closed, so if you want any of it, go for it, haha. There's a mini-ramp that may or may not still be in the garage as well that's too big for me to move an hour away. Oh, and the bank ramp is made out of my old '91 Saab that needs a new clutch, so if anybody wants that, feel free to pick it up as well, hahaha.

My 750 Max is getting a similar treatment. After commuting on it 2 and a half hours a day for nearly a year, I'm finally making getting to tear into it a little bit. The black and gold paint job (it's the midnight edition) is getting tossed for an all-matte-black paintjob with an evil/Satanic theme. I'll be removing the badges and such and just smoothing everything out. A friend of mine has a forge and does custom iron-work. He sent me the drawings the other day for my new backrest he's making me -- I'll attach below. Forward controls are in the works, and some flat bars (both much-needed mods... I'm way too tall for the swept-back bars and the location of the controls... I feel like I'm in the fetal position when I'm on it) and then cutting the seat down some. I'm probably going to have a local do some black-metal-style stitching on the seat (if I decide I'm too lazy to do it myself). Basically an overall god-free theme, haha.

Backrest design (broke into two images, top and bottom... a little stretched from my e-mail program):

-- should be done any day now (I can't wait) -- basically going for a super-evil twisted black-iron gothic-style (I showed him pictures of iron gates from cemetaries as a reference, haha). He's talking about doing some crazy stamped-in demons on the upside-down cross and potentially some other additions. I can't wait to see what he comes up with -- his forge-work is pretty amazing. It's good to have blacksmith friends, hahaha.
