I have a 1983 XJ750RJ Seca Touring. I have been lurking here for a year as I wasnt sure I was going to keep this bike. I am now going to give it a chance and I tear into it this spring as the last owner did not take care of it at all. I will wait to post my mechanical questions until my Haynes arrives to save any obvious things that may answer. The question I do have is that this bike has the touring package on it. The hard bags, trunk, and oversized cowl. I have removed the bags and the trunk ( Ikept them so if I take a trip I can reinstall them). I would like to replace the cowl too. I was wondering: What years/models wouls fit? Would the 900's?

I am doing this because I really like the way the XJ750 looks under all the stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

These pics are NOT my bike, but they could be. Mine looks EXACTY the same. I am having trouble locating any pics right now and am too lazy to take new ones.

I had one of those! It was in parts because the P.O.'s wife T-boned a cop car while learning to ride (TAKE AN MSF COURSE, PEOPLE!!!!). The carbs are now on my bike and I still have a few assorted parts. Nice to see one intact.
