FZR600 3he complete front onto XJ650

    I am looking to upgrade the front end of the XJ650 i have to use a FZR600 front, including the tree, brakes, wheel etc..

    Can someone give me some advice as to what will be needed to swap the complete front end of the FZR600 onto the XJ650?

    Several members have done the R6 swap, look in the XJ Modifications threads. I know that the stem has to be swapped by a machine shop, may need some spacers.

    Instruments and head light mounts will need to be fabricated. Steering stops will need to be welded to keep the forks from hitting the gas tank. Longer brake hose unless you are using clipons. If you want regular handlebars you will need to drill holes for the mounts for the bars. I used some from a Radian.
