    Hi,

I recently rebuilt my Seca Turbo carbs and have this extra plastic washer/spacer. I am going to guess it goes in somewhere between one of the throttle shafts, but where? Any ideas ? Thanks guys

yup, that's one of the throttle shaft washers that goes between the circlip and seal ;)

or on the outside of any of the carbs between the seal and the linkage.

TWO of the possibilities (outside on 1 and 4) are an easy fix; the rest are either a pain (break the rack again) or a real pain (if butterfly removal necessary.)

True, I omitted that side of them. That would be a pain if it is from inside :?

JeffK might be able to provide further insight to narrow it down, he has a few turbos iirc.

Can't really narrow it down any further than that without looking for the carb it's missing from?

Did you mean the NON-return spring side? that's what the specs say, in which case shouldn't be as bad of a mistake to fix.

Re: HELP: Rebuilt turbo carbs and have an extra plastic wash

No worries, I'm thoroughly entrenched in carb-spec spotting mode at the moment having to search for HSC33's to fit my new XJ750E-II that nobody except you and Wolfie seem to have heard of! 8)

By the way, exactly how rare IS this model, do you know how many made/left etc please, I like my new toy, I like to be different, I like rarities. Even if parts can be a PITA

Re: HELP: Rebuilt turbo carbs and have an extra plastic wash

I should have clarified that its the thick plastic washer not the thin ones. Plus there is only one of them so I am going to say it goes on the 3rd carb.

    Thanks again guys.
