No worries, only fair to try to let as many people as possible know seeing as it's "kinda" safety critical lol, I don't have a drum on mine but when I read about it I thought it'd be irresponsible not to add it to my signature.

    You got any mods/work planned?

    Nice bike,

I really like the paint and lines with the rear fender, clever!

I see some aluminum buffing in your future, get that case polished up and man she'll turn more heads still! Don't forget to update your signature with your location and bike specifics! Welcome!

Pretty baby! It would look better to me with a front fender, but that's me.

    Amazing paint job!

It's a very nice job, cosmetically. Unfortunately, all your PO did was primarily cosmetic. I see what appear to be original front brake lines there. READ THIS: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/p=3 ... tml#362571

Based on the overall condition of the motor (it could use cleaning too) I strongly suggest you check your valve clearances asap. Ignorance is NOT bliss and you will damage the motor before you experience a problem.

You PO was great at "pretty" but I suspect he didn't have a clue about the truly important things.

Nice bike. Don't let something bad happen to it or you. There is work to be done there.

Nice spot on the brake line, being able to stop when you ask to is as important as it not stopping suddenly when you don't expect it!

Welcome, GoPre. Heh, you can see we're big on stopping! Fitz has some great writeups on just what you DON'T want to see on your daily rider.

It is a nice detailing idea. Take the time to make sure the insides are trustworthy and you've got it all with that bike!
