82 xj750 Seca for sale

I am selling my 1982 Yamaha XJ750RH Seca because I have too many bikes right now and I want to work on some other bike projects. This bike is turn key and should need nothing, Just ride it and enjoy. The bike has about 17,xxx miles but that will change when the snow is gone. I put a set of maxim gauges on the bike because the stock Seca guages had a electrical issue and caused the bike to not run correctly. I had the header pipes powder coated and they look great and cleaned up the muffler. It has a Supertrapp exhaust system on the bike so you get the performance increase but don't have to rejet the carbs. This bike is smooth and rides very nicely so I did not check the valve shims. If you would like me to check them before you buy the bike I can do that for a fee. I did sync the carbs when I put them back on after I cleaned them and rebuilt them. This bike also has the highly coveted and ultra rare sport fairing. I do have the color matched side covers (both), they are just not on the bike when I took the pictures. There is a electrical glitch with the warning system on the gauge cluster that I have just lived with It does not affect how the bike runs. The warning system cycles when you use the front brakes. I completely went through this bike last winter and I have not put that many miles on it. It has a bunch of new parts and should give the new owner many many miles of problem free riding.

New Parts:

front and rear tire, 300 miles of riding on them
swing arm bearings
front and rear wheel bearings
super bike bars
cleaned and bled front brake
front brake pads, rear were in good condition
Not new but I got the exhaust powdercoated and it looks like new. It is a supertrapp system
Grips
oil and filter including the rear differential
rebuilt front forks, replaced seals and cleaned anti-dive system so it actually works.
tripple tree bearings replaced with tapered timpkin's and new races
fuel pet cock
Carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt.
