new fuse box

    got my new fuse box in the mail today. Old box was totally shot. but now i cant figure out which fuse goes to which circuit. :(

    Well, assuming you weren't blowing fuses from electrical shorts before, you can use a larger fuse to test circuits if need be & then fit the correct fuse for that circuit once you've identified it. (or just blow a couple of fuses in testing & what the hey, they're cheap)

    Main fuse big red wire 30Amp all the rest should be 10 amp

    main 30 amp (xj750, US) 20 amp all other models, so start with 20 amp
    then change if blows..

    signals, 10A
    ignition 10A
    Headlamp 10A

    and on 750 models an additional 5a fuse on tail lamp circuit in in-line fuse holder..? pretty sure this in not on mine I feel a little investigation in order!

    Just checked your model,

    As you have 750mk Just start with the 30A for main fuse

    If it's like my seca it'll be 30, 10, 10, 10...

    the google link in my sig has a album with a clear shot of my fusebox, but i cant see how to share the individual picture anmore.

    i grabbed the old fusebox out of the trash to look and the main was a 20 the rest are all 10s so now just waiting for my battery to arrive. had to warranty the old one out it had a dead cell.
